Singer/Songwriter Bethany Dyson is creating a buzz with her straight-talking lyrics approach to songwriting. Since her first release at the end of 2018, she has reached No.3 in the iTunes Country Chart and has gained support from local and international radio stations, including RCF Radio in Belgium.
"Just You and Me" (originally released as a single in October 2019) focuses on mental health and escapism, steeped in an optimistic vibe and has been supported by Gary Crowley at BBC Radio London, Soho Radio and BBC Music Introducing Coventry and Warwickshire also named the song their 'Tune of the Week'.
"Quite apart from her writing skills, Bethany is another locally based singer whose voice is so distinct that you couldn't mistake it for any other: even listening carefully for any obvious influences among famous singers only resulted in my hearing short echoes which seemed reminiscent only for the moment to fade into another. This voice also delivers what others see as another of her strengths: a clarity of purpose in her lyrics" (Hot Music Live)
